Torben Betts is an award-winning playwright and screenwriter.  At last year’s Berwick Literary Festival, he gave a talk describing his struggles in becoming and then remaining one. This year, with the help of a few friends, he will be reading selected scenes from his darkly comic plays, work that has spanned twenty years.

WHAT’S HAPPENING?

The US premiere of Muswell Hill opens at The Barrow Group, New York on 11 November 2017.
It ran for five weeks.

His latest production is Monogamy which after a national tour appeared at London’s Park Theatre.

The Original Theatre Company‘s production of Invincible played at the Brits-off-Broadway Festival until July 2nd 2017. More info here.

Invencible, a Spanish version of Invincible, has finished a major production in Spain in April 2018, starring Maribel Verdu. Another production finished in Buenos Aires in May 2018.
